Improvement of the sustainability process in all Villages. The goal was to establish a structure that supports the communication, documentation, monitoring, and control of ESG standards in retail development in coordination with The Bicester Collection's infrastructure.
Our approach focused on three key pillars: sustainability, processes & tools, and people. We conducted an as-is analysis to evaluate existing initiatives based on the GRESB/BREEAM assessment as a basis for decision-making in defining standards. Building on this, we developed standardized content and an enablement strategy to actively involve the retail development team in all villages.
The result: a sustainability handbook that defines standards for brand and tenant sustainability guidelines in retail fit-outs. A sustainability checklist was implemented as a solution tool to track and compare brand compliance. These initiatives provide a clear structure and measurable progress in the implementation of ESG standards across all Villages.
